Gabriela Nalven
I am a children’s book author who does most of my writing under the bright sun in Florida. I spend a lot of time with my support animal Athena, a yellowish-brown bearded dragon who is also the main character of my book. I believe in the power of teaching through children’s books and can’t wait to inspire young readers about my journey with Athena.
Inspired by Real Life
As someone who was born with cerebral palsy, I am passionate about writing books that help raise awareness around special needs, disabilities, and being kind. I am able to relate to Athena so much since she also lives with a disability. Our friendship has helped me learn to live a life I truly love.
